List of “Best Movies of All Time”

As promised in an earlier post, here are my favorite films of all time. I found every single one of these to be inspirational in one way or another. Obviously, the title of my memoir, “The Best Six Years of Any Life”, was “borrowed” from the 1946 movie of the year. The final movie on this list is “The Great Train Robbery”. Made in 1903, it is the first motion picture that told an actual story, albeit one with a predictable plot and outcome. A League of Their OwnBest Years of Our LivesBack_to_the_FutureLa BambaSummer of '42Wild RiverDr. ZhivagoWhat About Bob?The ShiningParent TrapThe GraduateThe Great Train Robbery

    What about “Breaking Away”?

“Breaking Away” was indeed a fine movie, Weldon, especially for those of us who have lived in Indiana. Any list like mine is certainly subjective and maybe I should have included a top 20 instead of only 12. If I had, “Breaking Away” definitely would have been on it. Thanks for your comment.
