On December 11, the WLT welcomed to its offices and honored those: who taught classes for aspiring writers, who conducted panel discussions open to the public, and who donated generously in support of the WLT mission. As a member of the Writers’ League Board of Directors, I was privileged to participate in the holiday cheer and to meet a number of interesting people. I also enjoyed the spectacular hors d’oeuvres, especially the Swedish meatballs! The Board thanks: our Executive Director, Becka Oliver; our Program Director, Jennifer Ziegler; and our Board President, Tony Burnett; all of whom took the lead in planning this special event.
